Perseverance and Resilience
In a NY Times piece, I learned about a young lady, who despite her family's support, went on to finish school and became a college graduate. This newly-minted college grad lives in southern Vietnam, and the struggles she overcame are very inspiring. Mom wanted her to quit school at a young age, by burning her books and begging her to work and help support the family. The young lady never quit. It's an amazing story; read it here .
