Supernova Hundreds of Years Later
The remnants of a supernova reaching earth hundreds of years later Scientist have recently found out how the light from a supernova--the explosion of a massive star--long ago can be seen hundreds of years later on earth. Apparently the remaining gasses, in addition to it spreading out after the massive explosion, some of the particles are imploding--going back towards the center--and that process is causing the gases to illuminate.
